In this limited-time celebration, you have the opportunity to win more Legendary and Epic cars than we’ve ever awarded before, as well as 6x Legendary Prize cars - including the brand new, never-before-awarded McLaren F1 GTR Long tail!

In short - your task is to collect McLarens. You will be given non-stop opportunities to open packs with Epic and Legendary drops to help you do so - but to win the top prizes will require a gargantuan effort!

There are two core ways in which your McLaren collection will be tracked - SHOWROOM TAKEOVER: COLLECT 20 and SHOWROOM TAKEOVER: PRESTIGE

🏎 Showroom Takeover: Collect 20

For the first time ever, win the exclusive Legendary Prize Car, the McLaren F1 GTR Long tail from this Objectives track, by collecting 20 unique McLaren cars within the duration of the Takeover. Any McLaren you add to your garage counts towards this track other than the 5000 Cars Special variants - all 4 Epics, all 6 Prize Cars, and all 21 non-Prize Legendaries.

Notably, this goal is not historic - cars you already own will not automatically trigger these goals. The Long tail is the only never-before-awarded Prize Car in this design, and everyone in the game has to achieve the same feat to win it!

🏎 Showroom Takeover: Prestige

However, those who have already been nurturing their McLaren collections will still be rewarded for having done so! Massive rewards await players who own certain numbers of unique McLarens while this track is still live:

  • Own 18 McLarens to open a Carbon Fiber pack

  • Own 22 McLarens to open a Titanium pack

  • Own 26 McLarens to claim a guaranteed Legendary car

  • Own 29 McLarens to claim 2x guaranteed Legendary cars

  • If you can own all 31 McLarens before the track is over - claim 3x guaranteed Legendary cars!

Both tracks will run from 27th August, 3pm (BST), to 14th September, midnight (BST).

❓ How can I collect McLarens?

There is a whole host of ways to win McLarens during the Showroom Takeover:

  • Legrand’s Reserve - win 5x previously awarded Prize Cars from classic Finals Events and from the Rivals battle

  • 3x Challenges - Manufacturer Infusion, Marque Masterclass and Emblem Unleashed

  • Objectives tracks like Showroom Capital and Showroom Retrofit

  • Exclusive offers in the in-game store, and on our webstore

  • The safety net - in case your luck is especially poor, there will be a pity system that awards more McLarens, the more McLarens you collect!

Sometimes rewards will give you a way to choose a specific car, and sometimes rewards will operate on the basis of random drops - but every single prize you claim during this Takeover can be a Legendary McLaren!

Sometimes a reward will have a chance of dropping Super Rare or Ultra Rare cars, not just Epics and Legendaries. Since there exist only Epic and Legendary McLarens, the criteria on these packs will be McLaren OR Mercury. Mercury is a manufacturer that has no Epics or Legendaries, and just 1 Ultra Rare and 2 Super Rares. In effect, this means that rolling Epic/Legendary vs Super Rare/Ultra Rare is functionally equivalent to rolling McLaren vs non-McLaren. You may end up with a lot of duplicates of those Mercury cars - the pack is essentially randomising whether you get fusion food or a McLaren pull. Setting things up in this way allows us to give out many more potential McLaren pulls!

🏎 Legrand’s Reserve

Legrand has been known to dabble in the world of McLarens - and he’s opening up his collection to those who can rise to meet his challenge!

If you’ve ever missed the days of Tri Series Finals, this is your lucky day - 4x Legrand’s Reserve Final Events will run back to back, with a simple premise - rank in the top 2 tiers, and claim a Prize Car!

The Events will run at the following times (in Europe, with the usual regional offsets):

  • 27th August 9pm, to 30th August 9pm

  • 30th August 9pm, to 2nd September 9pm

  • 2nd September 9pm, to 5th September 9pm

  • 5th September 9pm, to 8th September 9pm

🎁 The Prize Cars on offer are:

  • McLaren P1™ GTR - RQ 100

  • McLaren P1™ - RQ 98

  • McLaren Senna - RQ 98

  • McLaren Senna GTR - RQ 98

  • McLaren F1 GTR Short Tail - RQ 90

Players who rank T1 or T2 in any Final Event will win 1,000 Legrand’s Medallions. Exchange 1,000 Medallions for any one Prize Car you do not already own within the Legrand’s Reserve Exchange Challenges!

1,000 further Legrand’s Medallions can be won from the Rivals battle that will be running over the same period - more on that later!

Notably - players who rank in T3, T4 or T5 of a Final Event or the Rivals battle will win a lower amount of Legrand’s Medallions - meaning those who might usually not have the opportunity to win a Legendary Prize Car might find one within their reach this time!

For each of these 5x Prize Cars a player already owns, a separate exchange will be available - awarding instead a Showroom Master Key…

🔑 Showroom Master Keys

A Showroom Master Key can be exchanged for any non-Prize McLaren of your choosing, from the Showroom Exchange Challenges.

These Master Keys are hugely valuable, as each one you earn allows you to bypass one degree of randomness in completing both the Collect 20 and Prestige tracks. The more cars you have already collected, the more punishing duplicates will naturally become - so the ability to pick a specific car is vital.

As well as those available from the Legrand’s Reserve Exchange, further Master Keys are available - win one by beating the Emblem Unleashed Challenge, and another by completing the Showroom Retrofit Objectives track. More are available for purchase on the webstore!

These Master Keys also offset the difference between those who do and don’t already own the previously awarded Prize Cars. A player who already owns all 5x of those Prize Cars has 5 fewer cars they can actively collect during the runtime of this takeover, to help complete the Collect 20 track - but that player can earn 5x more Master Keys instead. Master Keys ensure owners and non-owners are in the same position for collecting 20 McLarens - either way, win 1,000 Legrand’s Medallions and you can claim a car that is guaranteed to increment your progress on both the Collect 20 and Prestige tracks.

Bearing all that in mind - make sure to save your Showroom Master Keys until later in the Takeover! You don't want to spend your Keys on a specific car, only to drop the very same car from a pack with random odds the next day!

Showroom Retrofit & Showroom Capital

These two Objectives tracks award you even more McLarens!

In Showroom Retrofit, be rewarded for your investment! Maxing out McLarens will earn you top rewards - including a Showroom Master Key, a guaranteed Legendary McLaren, and multiple more chances at Legendary McLarens!

In Showroom Capital, play the game as you ordinarily would, and claim even more McLaren pulls, for playing Event matches, spending Cash, logging in each day, and collecting and fusing higher-rarity cards.

In Showroom Capital, you can also claim Legrand’s Energy by winning matches in each of the Legrand’s Reserve Final Events. Spend this Energy to play rounds of the Showroom Takeover Challenges!

Both tracks run from 27th August, 3pm (BST); Showroom Capital runs to 1pm (BST) on 10th September, while Showroom Retrofit runs to 14th September, midnight (BST).

Showroom Takeover Challenges

Three Challenges will run from 27th August, 3pm (BST), to 10th September, 1pm (BST).

These Challenges will test your garage at increasingly high rarities and to increasingly punishing difficulties. Every 5 rounds you can win another McLaren pull!

  • Manufacturer Infusion - beat this Challenge to win a 50% chance of a Legendary McLaren, a 10% chance of a Legendary McLaren, and several more!

  • Marque Masterclass - beat this Challenge to win a guaranteed Legendary McLaren, a 50% chance of a Legendary McLaren, and more!

  • Emblem Unleashed - beat this Challenge to claim a Showroom Master Key, a guaranteed Legendary McLaren, and more!

Within the Showroom Takeover: Prestige Objectives track lives a safety to help safeguard you from the worst of bad luck.

Every 3x Epic McLarens you add to your garage, you can claim a free pack with a 5% chance of a Legendary McLaren, and 30% chance of a McLaren Epic!

Every 15x Legendary McLarens you add to your garage, you can claim a Showroom Master Key - ensuring that as you open successive McLaren packs, you are always progressing towards completing your collection!

⚔ Alex vs Xavier - Rivals is back!

In the midst of the Takeover, Alex and Xavier are at each other’s throats. There’s an opportunity to take another chunk out of Legrand’s collection - but they need your help to do it! Alex is here for an aggressive buyout, and is happy to flip the establishment on its head if that’s what it takes - while Xavier favours a more elegant approach; it’s not the first time some young upstart has tried to outbid him!

  • Compete for Showroom Capital across the game to win massive prizes!

  • Showroom Capital you collect anywhere in-game will be tracked from 27th August, 3pm (BST) to 10th September, 2pm (BST). The leaderboards will start calculating at 1pm, Showroom Capital will cease to be counted from 2pm, and then at 3pm, prizes will begin to be awarded.

  • Team selection will be random - on entering the game after the Rivals battle begins, a team will be selected for you automatically.

  • Prizes:

    • 1,000 Legrand’s Medallions will be won by players in the top 0.6% - entitling them to a Prize Car or Showroom Master Key from the Legrand’s Reserve Exchange Challenges. Players in the top 12.5% can win lower quantities of Medallions.

    • Rank in the top 0.2% and win yourself 3x Carbon Fiber packs and a guaranteed Legendary! Top 0.6% get 3x Carbon Fibers too, with 2x Carbon Fibers for the top 1.5% and a single Carbon Fiber for the top 5%

    • Lower ranks still have packs to compete for - including a triple Ceramic for the top 12.5%, and a double Ceramic for top 22.5%
